Engagement!!!

So Dallas and I went to Salt Lake yesterday to walk around temple square and to eat at one of my favorite pizza places, The Pie. We were walking around for awhile going into the visitor centers and chatting with the older folk that volunteer at the temple. A sister missionary even told us that we were a really cute couple :) another cool thing as a side note that we got to hear the acoustics of the old tabernacle! A sister missionary dropped a pin on the pulpit and you could hear it so loudly! I guess when they would have conference they didn't even need a microphone because the ceilings made it that way. Anyways, as we were leaving we were walking in the front of the temple, and dallas says he needs to "tie his shoe" and gets down on one knee and gives me this goofy grin. My heart starts pumping and i am thinking this is it, but then he jumps up and says just kidding! I was so sad but i gave him a good punch in the arm ;) so walking back to the car i was super bummed but he kept telling me it will happen soon enough, i just dont have the ring. Which made me even more sad because i thought i'd have to wait another couple weeks. But when we got to the car, he opened the door like he usual does and when i sat down he asked me if i could get his ipod out of the glove compartment. In the glove compartment he had decorated it with tissue paper and had the box open like in the picture above! There he got down on one knee :) He totally made up for earlier! I am truly so so happy and can't wait until november 19!!

hello! here ya go lacy! i hope you can see everything ok in these pics. this last pic is the tree from upstairs that every one makes fun of haha poor wimpy tree! we were all really shocked dad allowed mom to buy that tree! but the down stairs is where its at. in the bathroom dad got some horse shoes and made them into racks for the towels. its really sweet! and the creepy statue head on the mantel is a random thing linz had that we put up as a joke to see if people notice! the bar down stairs is new and its so super cool! it is a tree stump and the old bar stools are perfect for it! anyways i hope these work! i love you so much and miss you tons!
